Odin Works 18" DMR Heavy Barrel 6.5 Grendel

One of the benefits of the unique 6.5 Grendel round in an AR-15 is that it increases the distance at which the AR platform can be ballistically effective, compared to the 5.56 NATO. To take advantage of this increased ballistic efficiency, ODIN Works developed its 6.5 Grendel DMR Heavy Profile Barrel, which allows rifle owners to build a perfect precision rifle on any AR-15 receiver set. Each ODIN Works 6.5 Grendel DMR Heavy Profile barrel is equipped with a tunable gas block, which allows shooters to manually adjust the gas flow from the block to the receiver for optimum performance with their preferred ammunition. The barrel itself is machined from stainless steel and features either a mid-length or a rifle-length gas system and a 1:8-inch twist rate. Each barrel is topped with 5/8"-24 TPI muzzle threads that accept most of today's popular muzzle devices. Barrels can be had in either 18- or 20-inch lengths, and the weight on this design maxes out at 2.66 pounds for the 20-inch barrel.
